Hi all,

Recently installed / created a minecraft server on a spare PC for my son and his friends. My son can connect to it and once I sent up port mapping on my router several of his friends could too, all good.

However 2 days later my son's friends now cant connect. Ive checked the local PC firewall, opened up the 25565 in / out coming ports on the local firewall, recreated the port mapping but nope.

My broadband is with Vodafone and Im now starting to think they might of stopped these connections getting to me, seeing it as some form of spam attack as I dont see any external connections on that port trying to come in.

Anyone else had issues like this with Minecraft ?

Ive tried ringing vodafone, and online chat but all fail to connect or crash.

I was just about to post this - rebooted the router or reset the connection in some way?
