Bird Feeder Cam - Kit Assistance Please
Discussion
Hello all.
My Bird Feeder Cam project has moved from trying to get my DSLR to do the job, to looking at an IP camera system, because it just works so well when tested with OBS Studio and an Android Phone running IP Webcam.
Having had a dabble I have now realised what I would like to achieve. That is an IP camera which I can control from an app, to include pan/tilt control along with manual adjustment of exposure plus the ability to focus where I choose. It should work with OBS Studio (tested and streams well to YouTube).
Amazon as ever is a minefield You can buy something for £17 which does most of that but the picture quality is not even close to that which my phone delivers (just an old Honor 9, nothing fancy). The cheap Chinese stuff does appear to have all sorts of security worries too. The alternatives seem to be security cameras and I'm not sure they have the functionality I am looking for.
Has anyone got any experience or suggestions here?
Thanks :-)
