Best Firewall/Antivirus?
Discussion
Hi all
I'm using a combination of free AVG and ZoneAlarm at the moment and I wanted to know a couple of things...
1. Will I actually receive a better level of protection by purchasing a "Full" package of AV and Firewall software?
2. If so - which would be the preferred option for you? (In terms of ease of use, effectiveness, level of security and price)
I'm using Win XP and Firefox as my default browser, I'm not a computer genius so it would have to have a fairly decent interface too!
Many thanks
Phil

I use FireFox fo browsing.
I have the beta of Microsoft AntiSpyware running (as its basically a re-branded Giant product), AVG anti-virus and Sygate Personal Firewall.
The only time I have ever had even so much as a warning, has been when I have been to a particularly stupid site (normally following a dodgy MP3 link or something) and then AVG catches it anyway. Sygate is very very good as well.
You should be fine with what you have, really.
