Hoping the PH gang can help me with this. Parents have just moved house, and although they’re not complete technophobes, they are struggling to figure out how to connect their phones to the existing Worcester Smart Thermostat (which is working fine from the actual controller on the wall).

They’ve moved into a relatively modest 4 bed which in recent years had a monster water leak... it was all fixed on insurance and this resulted in a very complicated heating system and automated water cut-off system being installed. As such, I want to be a bit careful when instructing dad to start resetting things etc.

Does the previous owner need to remove her device or anything... or is there a way my parents can download the app and get on to the system that way?

The controller is below:

Sorry if it’s a bit brief but don’t really know where to start. I’m instructing dad remotely so if anyone can help point me in the right direction that would be great.

I've got a similar one (labelled bosch).

He will need to set up an account (email address and password) then enter the serial number of the device which can be found on the rear of the thermostat (its sat in a crade on the wall and there should be a little release point on the bottom).

You can then set heating/hot water times via the app.

I've also got a couple of the rad TRVs (battery powered) so that we can create some zones in the house

The app is called Easy Control

Awesome thanks, this pointed us in the right direction however the Easy Control app didn’t work as it’s actually called “Worcester Wave” so it’s a different app.

All sorted now, thanks again!
