GFX card up the swanny!!
Discussion
Looks like my 256MB Radeon 9800 pro has finally given up the ghost :(
As I type, all I see are yellow horozontal and vertical lines on the screen, this always happened now and again on start up, but now, its there all the time, redering my PC for CAD word and less importantly, games, useless!
This is yet another example of 'high quality' (and at the time, top of the range at nearly £400 less than 2 years ago!), having a sell by date!
Right, guess I'll have to order another one, but not top of the range crazy expensive this time, what do you guys think about this card?:

Its a Sapphire Radeon X800PRO 256MB DDR3 AGP X8 TV-Out DVI-i Retail Box, I should think its better than my 9800 Pro I have now, isn't it? Just like to check before I commit to ordering :)
Cheers
Chris

Take a look at this thread I started - Is my graphics card toast
Sounds like 9800Pros like to overheat...
