turning phone into a tracker

i want to try using one of my older smart phones into a car tracker. i park at a farm in a barn so dont have sight of it everyday, and the owner of the barn wouldnt know if ive took it or its just gone.. can any one suggest a tracking app that would notify me if it is being moved,

tried with one similar, just couldnt get it to work, i know my phone works

Life360- set location settings to always on- works on iPhone and Android. If it’s an iPhone, set up. New account and add it to family.

Beware that these are 2G only. Some providers are 3G (and above) only - Three and anyone using their network
