Hopefully someone can assist as I am really lost here.
Basically what I am trying to do is to have the option to have Google Play store but retrict purchasing of apps and other stuff.

Bought a Fire HD 8 for my son, and have created a child profile for him.
I have installed Google Play Store on my profile but can't seem to find a way to install this on his profile.
ES File Manager seems to be a viable option, I have saved the APK to SD Card and I can see it in ES File Manager on son's profile.
However it seems that I need to pay monthly subscription to install the APK.

The other option is to let my son use my profile but the last time I did that he managed to buy apps from the store very easily and I don't really want this.

I also can't seem to create another adult profile, seems that 2 is the limit. I have my daughter as the other adult in the household.

The only way I've found for doing similar, is to install the apps you want to the adult profile and then share them with child profile. That way you have control over what gets downloaded because only you can download it. Only pain is that you have to keep switching to adult profile to update the apps e.g. sonic stops working until you download latest updates.

its a pain, i do as the above poster does, install on adult & share with child profile - although i have run into issues (app dependant) where an app add on it purchased on adult profile but cannot filter to child profile .. frustrating. In this case the child needs to play on adult profile.

I have this same issue - our two lads have Fire HD 8 kids editions and both love Pokemon Quest. I had to sideload that in via the Google Play Store but can't see a way to push that to their kid profiles from my own one. I'd assumed that wasn't possible, where would I look to try and do this?

Thanks all. I am already installing apps on adult profile and sharing the content with the child profile. However this only works for apps on Amazon store, which is not that many.

So far can't figure out how to get Google Play Store on the child profile. Closest I've came is using ES File Explorer which found the apk. However need paid version to proceed installing the 3rd party app.
