Hey guys recently moved house - previously we had poor phone signal on O2 & Vodaphone now its even worse, my problem concerns both my wife's voda moto g6 and my O2 Samsung A10 handsets losing signal. Evertime this happens the bloody handset's makes an irritating noise/jingle, How can I turn this irritating noise off?? It happens evertime we go upstairs where's there is a mobile phone signal - downstairs there is no signal - needless to say it's REAL REAL irritatating - HELP please. I've tried the obvious nothing works for this phone signal lost noise/jingle.
I'd previously noticed this occasionally whilst travelling in the car when signal was lost, so the problem has always occurred with both these phonesfrown
However my previous phone a Samsung Note never did this when it lost signal, so I guess the problem is related to newer handsetsfrown
Hope you can sort it for me

My Moto G6 doesn’t make any noise or vibrate when it loses signal.
It does though when it finds a signal and I have unread messages, this is to tell me I have unread messages rather than it has acquired a network signal.

It may be some app installed on both phones. I have the G6 and it doesn't happen for me. Didn't see anything under sound settings or notifications.

I had the same problem with a motog6, I too was unable to switch off the fking 'no signal tone' mad What's the idea behind this tone ?? The user can't do SFA about the lack of signal FFS.
My solution was to buy one of these:-

And use the G6 as a music player in the car to play tunes through the ICE. IMO the only other use for it!!
Modern tech huh - KRAP!!

Thanks for all the suggestions, the ebay cheapie phone is the obvious solution, ought to have thought of that myselfsmile Really like the idea of using the now useless phone's as a Blutooth media player in the car thumbup
