TP wifi extender
Discussion
I have an old WA860RE wifi extender which has 1 x rj45 port. I recently upgraded to Velop and this extender has been left unused as its no longer needed.
Can it be used to provide wireless access to a wired device? I have had a look in the options and I can only see this being possible if its used as a wifi extender.
But I dont want to introduce a wifi extender into the network and have the possibility of devices hanging off this slower wifi network.
So I basically want it to "receive only" so to speak and then allow access from the rj45.
Possible? (google not giving a clear answer)

Ignore this. I swear I am getting alzheimer's (not even a joke). I realised I am describing a wifi bridge.... and the WA860 is not one.
FFS...
Look at page 20 of https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202003/20200311/19... - it looks as if it will do exactly what you want.FFS...
edit - page 14 takes you through disabling the extended wireless network
