Hi folks, I have been given an iPhone 11 Pro by a family member that has upgraded to a 12. Ive had it for a bit and just changed contract to 3. When I put my new sim in (prev Vodafone) it say the sim is not supported so I assume the phone needs unlocked - the sim works in my old iPhone 8 I checked so it’s not an issue with the sim.

I was on official sim unlocks website which seems to get good reviews but the phone I notice has a physical and doigital Imei number does anyone know which is presented for unlocking?

Any help appreciated.

I could get them to call Vodafone to unlock it but they are away with work for over a week and I need the phone!!

Odd. Vodafone don’t carrier lock iPhones.

What does it say in settings > general > about with regard to carrier restrictions?

Was it bought originally from Carphone Warehouse? They sold iPhones that used to lock to the carrier of the first sim inserted.

IIRC I had to contact Vodafone to get my iPhone SE unlocked, which was bought sim-free from Carphone Warehouse.
