Recommendations for 32” 4K monitor for Mac Mini
Discussion
Thinking of replacing my iMac with a Mac mini setup but having difficulty deciding on a suitable monitor.
I’d like it to be a 32” 4K adjustable height IPS panel. I don’t play games. USB C would be helpful.
I like the look of viewsonic, eizo, benq and iiyama, but can’t decide between them.
Preferably under £800.
Any suggestions?
Edited to add- BenQ PD3200U looks promising, although not usb-c unfortunately.

Answers on the Mac forums tends to be the Dell Ultrasharp (U3219Q) at about £700 or an LG UltraFine (32UN880-B) at about £600.

I like the look of that LG, especially the mounting options. Thanks.page3 said:

If you don't use it for gaming then I'd suggest an ultrawide rather than a 4k monitor. I've got a QHD 34" and it's like having two square monitors without a gap in the middle. Excellent for workI’d like it to be a 32” 4K adjustable height IPS panel. I don’t play games. USB C would be helpful.

Wowsers. Kinda glad I have crap eyes and wouldn't benefit from a quality screen - I bought two Samsung 32" 4K monitors for £440.page3 said:

Current iMac resolution is 2560x1440 and I don’t find it high enough. Ultrawide unfortunately won’t improve on that (horizontal) hence wanting 4K (at least). If that makes sense.
An ultrawide QHD will be 3440x1440 so a fair bit more width on the resolution4K is a bit wider again, but if you don't have a bigger panel you might need to scale up past 100% anyway losing the benefit of the additional pixels

I think one of the problems is trying to picture what’ll work best in the space I have and with macOS.
