I've recently got very interested in IT stuff, taken some exams and started watching the scam baiting videos on YouTube. I'm absolutely loving the stuff by these guys, like Jim Browning, KitBoga etc. I love the way they access the scammers computers, delete their files and all the other stuff they do. Absolute geniuses! Is this difficult to do? Are there any other guys worth watching too? Are there specific programs they use to gain access to the scammers' computers?
Anyway, sorry for all the questions, just pondering really, fascinated by these guys

It's not something I have looked at in loads of detail but you need to be careful trying to access scammers machines using a RAT (Remote Access Trojan). It's illegal regardless of the fact that they are trying to scam you.
The streams I have seen from kitboga on twitch he just keeps the scammer on the phone for as long as possible by making them think they are getting somewhere. The first step to doing that is setting up a virtual machine using something like VirtualBox, disguising the fact that it is a virtual machine, and installing a bunch of tools that you will use to contact the scammer and keep them on the phone for as long as possible (save a snapshot of the vm at this point so you can reset it easily after each call). Kitboga's setup in terms of the tools he uses is very custom I believe and he created a lot of these himself (fake google play, fake bank, etc.). I'd never consider doing what they do. My 'skills ' are fairly limited compared to these guys. I just think what they do is brilliant and nothing less than these scammers deserve. I'll check out the reddit forum. Cheers The streams I have seen from kitboga on twitch he just keeps the scammer on the phone for as long as possible by making them think they are getting somewhere. apparently i sound like Jim Browning, comversation usually goes like this -
Customer - "I know your voice, have I talked to you before?"
Me - "no"
Customer - "are you that guy off youtube, catches the scammers?"
Me - "Jim Browning? it's not me"
Customer - "that's what Jim Browning would say"
Me - "definitely not me"
Customer - "i'm not sure if I should give you access to my network, I've seen what he does"
Me - "If i was Jim Browning, I'd already be in your network"
Customer "fair point

"I watch "Scammer Payback" bloody brilliant, although some of his character with makes me cringe a bit to be honest, but the stuff he does reverse connection and deleting files etc.
I genuinely have no idea how the scammer people engineer these poor people's bank accounts to look like they have different balances to reality with payments paid in that don't exist.
You'd hope that wouldn't be possible..
Still brilliant scammer baiting. I haven't watch the other people, but will add to my watch list.
Thanks

Ctrl+Shift+I on Chrome then go poking about. It won't save anything and any changes you make are lost when you refresh. It's also used to make it look like people said something they didn't, like this
