Hi all

Bear with me as I've always lived in a house with fast / fibre broadband and now face a new challenge.

We move next week and the house we are moving to only has adsl broadband with speeds suggested from BT at between 1 & 3mps. Im currently with Sky on fibre broadband and they said they don't even supply broadband to my new address.

What are my options for fast broadband in our new place? I need it to be able to handle Sky Q, 4k TV, home working, video calls and streaming by the kids.

The new place is also spread out (it's a bungalow) so want to be able to get wifi in all areas of the house. We currently have the sky Q mini boxes as boosters but without having Sky internet I don't think these will work. I have done some reading on the forum about mesh but this is getting way ahead of my technical understanding!

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where to start solving these issues?

Cheers

This is a helpful topic https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

I’m sat at home on 3 via 4g and it’s showing a download speed of 103Mbps

Starlink (maybe not immediately - but get in the queue)
4G or 5G broadband router

Transfer to a copper broadband provider that takes on 'problem lines', if you think there is more potential.

320d is all you need
