Hi All,

I’m currently looking for a VPN to unlock geo content on Netflix (basically watch US Netflix) and access the F1 app.

The two I’m currently between are Private Internet Access which works with F1 but appears shakey with Netflix, or Express VPN which seems to get glowing reviews but is 3x the price. PIA is very cheap at around £16/yr after cashback, with Express VPN more at £55ish.

Has anyone here used a decent VPN for Netflix that can comment? I am only really interested in streaming content which seems to narrow the range.

Thanks

Not tried with netflix but NordVPN works fine with iplayer and prime, as did PureVPN but Pure's app didn't work on the Chromecast

If you Trustpilot each of the big providers, i think that you will find that they tend to be great during the free trial, but eventually they tend to fail when it comes down to streaming restricted content.

The volume of activity taking place makes it a very easy target for BBC, SKY and Netflix to disrupt.

I assume an expensive boutique type service might provide something to a higher standard.

Express vpn. Honestly, the best I’ve tried so far.

Netflix, YouTube, bbc iplayer. All of them. Perfect

I use VPN Unlimited by Keepsolid ID.
Got a lifetime sub for £9.50 last December!

Works fine and has dedicated Netflix servers in the US, my license allows 5 devices to use it.

I have been using https://surfshark.com/ for about 6 months after NORD came up with a bizarre renewal price.
Seems really good, had some issues to start with setup and the online tech support was great.

I signed up to SurfShark mainly as the QuidCo offer was the best - it seems great on a tablet.

Have you managed to configure it on a FireStick or Apple TV? I’ve struggled with both of these.

Surfshark works fine for me on a laptop, phone and Android TV.
Did have to fiddle around a bit to find a US server that wasn't blocked by Netflix, but their tech support was very helpful. Get good speeds too.

Sorry for slight hijack, but can you use a VPN to get all region access to netflix if you are viewing it via a SKY Q box? I have no idea how these work but would like to get all the USA only stuff.

Never tried tbh just use it on Mac mini so I can stream.

Can’t you just cast iPad to Apple TV?

That’s exactly what I’ve ended up doing, it’s a lot easier than trying to set it up on the device directly!
