Free video editing software

[moustachebandit]

I wanted to do a small video post test on Linkedin and trying to find a free / simple to use video editing software.

Just want to create a 15/20 second animation with a few call outs.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Windows 10 has it built in https://www.howtogeek.com/355524/how-to-use-window...

Sadly, Windows Movie Maker was far superior to this new hidden one. You could zoom right in to clip out words etc.

I'm now testing FilmForth (also free) and that allows you to zoom right in.

I do miss Windows Movie Maker, surely there is a download link somewhere for it. I may even have an old installer kicking around somewhere

There is. I currently still use it on Windows 10.

DaVinci Resolve - loads of online tutorials as well, the free version is fine, no watermarks etc.

Yes, I was using it last week. It's not on a PC I just bought, though!
