Anyone had their WhatsApp hacked?

Happened to me on Monday. My fault for stupidly sending a screenshot of the message I'd been sent to the group who warned me about it, clearly NOT the thing to do.

Took a day or so but it seems I'm back on, I just need to be re-added to all groups.

Anyone had it happen to them, and do I need to be worried they're still in my account, or is it safe now that I've reactivated it etc.

How’s that possible though … they would need either your sim or the Qr code to activate a desktop service?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think I somehow posted the 6 digit code someone needs to identify their phone, so this person then used it to activate my account on their phone or something.
