I'm watching the Doug Demuro review of the McLaren Speetdail and up pops an ad which looks like it's a news bulletin from a local TV station. Wow, someone has come up with some new money thing, Elon Musk etcetera. I'm thinking it does seem a bit odd, the lips don't quite match the words and it ain't an Australian drawl (I am in Australia) but some sort of bland, non-local variant but with what sounds like the actual presenters voice. Then we cross to Elon Musk seemingly extolling the virtues of "AI auto trading programs" as his company was short of cash and he got a divorce as his wife thought he was spending too much time at the office..... They do fail a bit on reproducing his voice, as you'd expect if you heard him talk, so they just run some computer generated voice over the top, synched to the video. If you hadn't heard Musk talk and know his speech patterns you wouldn't tell the difference so easily.

Welcome to Google, Youtube and 2021!

And yeah, if you don't like then don't use youtube and all that.....
