I'm not a great technology user so need some guidance please.

I've recently updated my 8 year old laptop to an Asus Chromebook, now I've found my existing printer an Epson SX130 won't work with it no matter what guidance or advice I seek online, the Epson site states its not compatible with my Chromebook.

Can someone advise me which 3 in 1 printer, wireless or USB connected, that would be suitable for occasional use for around £100.00.

Get a cheap raspberry PI and run it as a network print server. A pi3 will do, a pi4 is overkill and I've found a PiZeroW to be so much hassle with adding extra USB ports etc that you may as well just buy a pi3.

I had a spare pi4 lying around which is connected to a HP 3000 Inkjet. It serves both a Windows PC and two Chromebooks over the network for printing.

LOL

Don't buy a Raspberry Pi.

Any WiFi connected printer with the features you want will work fine.

As above, if buying new just buy something which is WiFi enabled. 99.9% of stuff will work with Chrome OS nowadays, so look to satisfy your other print criteria such as running costs, consumables etc and then just double check compatibility to be 100% certain, but you should be good.

Thanks for the advice, purchased an Epson XP 4100 which does exactly what I need from a home printer and it was easy to set up and connect.
