Hi all,

I am moving to a property with very slow broadband (3-5 Mbps). I can get 20 Mbps on my O2 mobile so was looking at getting a TP Link SIM router and unlimited O2 data plan. Does anyone know if these are compatible as I understand you can only use a data SIM with a phone, tablet or mifi.

Thanks in advance!

A mifi is just a small router , data sim will work in a router , ive been using smarty (3 network) for 2 years now data sim in huawei router - better ime than tplink which i had 2 of before going with huawei. Unlimited data £18 a month i get through up to 300gb a month and get 25-30 meg.

I dunno which one you are getting but this is one we use as and when required at sites we need to set a pc up at its few years old now it just works and its just more practical for what we use it for than messing about with hotspots/ tethering etc.
As the poster above says your sim should work fine in it
