Poor broadband
Discussion
We had sky for years and now Vodafone
Notice a degree of buffering mainly when using Peloton via a Roku box. Worse since going to Vodafone but used to happen before
We apparently get 80Mb down speeds
The house has Sonos, and the kids have one iPad
We have smartphones and 2 cctv systems
I’ve tried the Roku hard wired to the Ethernet on the router and via wifi and it’s unstable both ways
I need to understand how I can work out the issue…
1) if I got a much better router that could recognise streaming and prioritise it, or that lets me set manual priorities
2) is it because Vodafone is crap compared to Sky, it seems to consistently give me 80mbps when I test it
3) is there a router that would show me what devices are using the bandwidth up in real time so I can see if something is draining the bandwidth

As you’ve had buffering with both services, I wonder what your usage looks like? Do you have anyway of checking how much data you’re sending/receiving? Or what does your latency looks like?
The next thing is both Sky and Vodafone are fundamentally reselling a BT FTTC connection (going by the 80mb comment) and whilst they could both have different levels of congestion in their respective networks, I wonder if it’s something else.
If you don’t know how much data you’re sending/receiving I would start by temporarily disabling your two CCTV cameras as they could be transmitting significant amounts of data (especially if they use HD quality video) and then testing to see if it still buffers.

Turn the wifi off
Unplug any hardwired devices
Plug a laptop into on of the ports
Run a speedtest https://www.speedtest.net/https://broadbandtest.which.co.uk/
What's the result?
