GoPro 8

Hi, looking at the GoPro 8 which will mainly be used by my daughter for horse riding. Amazon sell a bundle with spare battery and head strap etc but it comes with a small memory card - does anyone have any recommendations for higher capacity memory card please? Also Is it easy to get the footage off the GoPro onto an iPhone or does it need some kind of external hard drive? My daughter has an old iPhone SE and 1st edition iPad.

I use a Hero 8 for track day videos and use a 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO memory card, which is plenty big enough for a full day. This is compatible with 4K video but I tend to stick with 1080P for my track videos at a higher frame rate.
The GoPro Quik app allows camera control, video editing from a phone (you might need to check whether an iPhone SE is supported). I think you can also transfer files from the camera to the phone although I transfer to a PC for editing with third party software.

I need to check if the App will work properly with a 1st gen iPhone SE - it might be a bit old hat now!
