Nvidia Resizable BAR, worth it?
Discussion
Has anyone on here activated it, I have read that it's only supported by the few games listed on the link but can even give worse performance on those not supported.

Worth the hassle of flashing a new vbios to the GPU?

So vBIOS update was fast and not a worry of a brick at the end, activated ReBar on motherboard then lost boot options, find I need UEFI GPT boot on Windows drive (which is the same requirement for Windows 11) so run the mbr to gpt conversion. Then decide since I'm doing that I'll activate the TPM module on the board but then on checking it seems Asus have released a new BIOS that automatically enables it anyway so one motherboard bios update later, turn ReBar back on, set RAM DOCP, set fan control and check boot drive is correct and away we go. Resizeable Bar setup and now fully Windows 11 compatible too.
Tested on Horizon Zero Dawn as this is compatible.
Without ReBar 97fps @1440p (ulitmate quality)

With ReBar 109fps @1440p (Ultimate quality, motion blur was on so perhaps it could also have been higher off?)

Without ReBar 59fps @ 4k (Ultimate quality, motion blur off)

With ReBar 62fps @4k (Ultimate quality, motion blur off)

There is an increase in FPS but it's the lows that are impressive, when I ran the benchmark for the first time after starting the game before activating ReBar I could get stutter in the market areas and the circular area, it ran smoothly on 2nd run through but there is none with ReBar on every time.
So worth it here, I'll have to try some others.

I enabled it as soon as I setup my new PC so had very little to compare it to as I went from a 2700X & 2080Ti to a 5950X and 3090FE.
It’s the new tech from MS and Nvidia that I’m looking forward to, DirectStorage and RTX IO, but I think they’ve now been limited to Win 11 only. Won’t be installing that until a general release though, can’t be doing with preview builds.

After waiting for another big Assassins Creed Valhalla update (18gb...) managed to just run the benchmark in that as it's another useful one.
Without Rebar - 74fps @ 1440p

With ReBar - 77fps @1440p

3fps increase despite having a lower min and lower max fps and near identical 1% and 0.1% lows but 240 extra frames rendered in the same time with ReBar.
So overall it's doing something, worth doing and I've not seen a negative result yet but I'll have to install and check a non-ReBar game to see, Far Cry 5 probably as it has a benchmark tool too.

Far Cry 5 benchmark, a game that isn't Resizable Bar supported.
No ReBar 110fps @ 1440p, 6486 frames rendered.

ReBar on 112fps @1440p, 6608 frames rendered.

Neither of these runs were once only, I always run benchmarks at least 3 times before taking a snapshot as it allows textures to cache.
So no loss turning ReBar on, and with only 2 fps difference between the two no gain either as that's probably just down to the runs.
