Why are usb-c to lightning audio adapters so expensive
Discussion
Got an iPad Pro with only a usb-c adaptor.
There are times when it’s much easier to use wired headphones rather than Bluetooth. Just about all of mine are Apple lightning connectors.
The cheapest audio adapters seem to be Anker for £27, Apple’s own cost £29.
Why are they so expensive, charging/power adapters in comparison are reasonable prices?

There is one on Amazon for £7.
Unless I'm missing the obvious, which is entirely possible.

This is the charging version rather than the expensive audio. It’s either one or the other They're only £9 from Apple - Lightning.
