I’ve tried other services, but I’ve never found one that is so easy and quick to use. I can take a photo on my iPhone and have it appear on a forum in under a minute with photobucket. Yes, at times they’ve been bloody awful, but for now at least it’s slick enough for me.
I found Dropbox to be much better.Evoluzione said:

Not sure why you would pay for it when virtually unlimited Google / iCloud is a couple of quid a month.

I found Dropbox to be much better.I dropped my sub (the smallest) when they implemented the (high) sub required to link pictures in to forums policy. Was already tempted to drop it before then as it was unreliable, the windows uploader as PITA and uploading from a PC using a web browser felt like a kludge. When the free account was hamstrung I deleted all my photos on it, not just enough to keep under the limit.

Ditched Photof
kit after they destroyed massive amounts of forum posts with a switch to paid accounts which broke image links. Huge amounts of useful info and guides were lost. I maintain my free account there (over capacity) just to cost them money now.
Also pissed off when they royally screwed a lot of internet sites, lots of threads ruined because all the associated pictures disappeared when nobody wanted to pay the exorbitant price they were asking to host.

Didn't realise they were still going, as I thought they were going under at one point.
Not long after the episode with the horrific price increases, the company was bought out and sanity returned. When I’ve had a couple of issues they’ve responded to my Twitter messages.
I’m no geek, so there’s no way I can set up my own image hosting server like some have.
I tried Flikr, couldn’t work out how to share images on forums, nobody could help, ditched it.
One nice thing about Photobucket is that there’s no social media aspect to it.

Pay for it each month as was kind of stuck with it, but it seems really poor.
Photos in different order to what you ask for, slow and clunky.
I sort of manage but went in today, just got a spinny thing and no photos, tried to upload and got an error.
You can change the order in which the pictures are displayed. I think you get options like date taken, date uploaded etc. There was an update recently and afterwards they were all in the wrong order, but I just changed the setting to most recently uploaded and it was back to where it was before.Photos in different order to what you ask for, slow and clunky.

Loads of people post from flickr here. I'm surprised no one could help. I could google in two minutes what option to choose.I’m no geek, so there’s no way I can set up my own image hosting server like some have.

Photobucket is a prime example of a company sitting on its old time laurels, caught on the hop because they never moved with the times.
Its the Netscape of image hosting.

Well, I asked on a photography forum, two or three years ago, and nobody could help. I googled it, obviously, and it looked like there was a problem. Photobucket is a prime example of a company sitting on its old time laurels, caught on the hop because they never moved with the times.

I just want to take a photo with my iPhone, load it onto an image hosting site/app with my iPhone, then share the image on a forum with my iPhone. Any issues at any point, it’s a non-starter.
Edit to add: usually, people would eventually admit that they were using the desktop version, not iPhone.

I would recommend trying Imgbb then. I just want to take a photo with my iPhone, load it onto an image hosting site/app with my iPhone, then share the image on a forum with my iPhone. Any issues at any point, it’s a non-starter.
