iPhone 6 App updates

I have a couple of updates one for eBay and one for Amazon Music that say they require iOS 13.4 or above to work but I can download the older version of the app.

Thing is I have installed and are using the older version of the app

This is not really a problem apart from having notifications of 2 pending updates is messing with my OCD !

Any ideas ?

it said you can use an older version of the app but it didn't say it wouldn't hassle you about the upgrade. Apple do want you to buy a new phone at this point so I am sure the way these things surface is intended to put that seed in your mind!

The seed is already planted this was a freebie to see how I got on with an iPhone coming from Android. I'll be treating myself in September ...

Odd thing is I have other ios devices that are no longer supported but dont have this prob. I suppose I could bin the apps and try a fresh install.
