Anyone got a OnePlus9 Pro? or A.N Other?!
Discussion
Any good?
My Huawei p30 pro is due to be updated & no idea what to go for - The 9 pro seems to get great reviews...
Other option is guess would be a S21 - but i'm not clear on the differences between 21, 21+ & 21 ultra?
Any other options?
(No interest in working with a p40 pro and trying to get all my apps to work without play support)

Loved my OnePlus 3 - probably replaced it a year or two earlier than intended, but the camera focus motor failed - the phone was dropped every so often so I assume it's my fault. Even worse I rarely use the camera, but these days it's an essential to have on you.
Replaced it with a 7 Pro and based on my experience alone I would never touch a OnePlus again. Fed up with various bits not working or stopping working - official forums are quite busy at times, especially with the failing wifi in the latest version of Oxygen that they seem incapable of fixing. However ... a number of friends of mine have the 8pro and they suffer none of the issues so it looks like the 7pro may just be a bad model.

I still have a 6 and not that convinced anything more expensive would be that much better.
I agree. It had a very fast processor, even back then, the cameras are good too.But then I used to have older Panasonic and Canon compact cameras and prefer their photos to the new super complicated, super-zoom cameras.
Sometimes the new stuff is not superior, just more complicated and technical.
I've just replaced my P30 Pro with a Oneplus 9 Pro - only a few days in but I'm really happy so far. Camera is good, screen is too.
Charges very quickly indeed.
I really like the external controls for silent/vibration modes.
It does run a bit hot, need to update the software apparently.
It's definitely an upgrade.

Anything up with the P30? if not just go on sim only and save the money? My Huawei p30 pro is due to be updated & no idea what to go for - The 9 pro seems to get great reviews...
