BT Mobile (currently with O2)
Discussion
I'm out of contract and looking at options. Obviously it's all fairly confusing when you factor in the "benefits" from each contract.
I've been with O2 a long time, but keep getting loss of signal for months at a time in the middle of a major city. It's frustrating.
I have BT FTTP internet therefore they offer some attractive mobile contracts (eg. £12/month for 60GB). When I factor in my other subscription services it's £100/yr cheaper. Not exactly huge amounts, but definitely worth consideration.
Does anyone here use them? If so, are they any good? If you moved from another provider was it worth it for the savings?

IME they're all as good or as bad as one another.
I moved work - 65 people - from O2 to Vodafone purely for a cost benefit. Big round number 50% said it was better 50% said it was worse.
I'm not sure you can win.
If you're in a patchy signal for <insert provider's name here> you'd likely know it from friends etc.
If I was really dead fussed I'd get a £10 PAYG sim from the planned new network and have a tinker.

In general they are all much the same except Three who are either great or absolute rubbish/no signal. I’ve moved around providers over the last few years and in general I’ve found Vodafone to be best for at least providing a 2g signal, EE fastest data and usually a signal but not as good as Vodafone indoors, O2 similar to Vodafone and Three to be good in most places for data but too often no signal at all out in the sticks or in central London.
I’m currently with Vodafone but their retention offer wasn’t good so thinking of going back to O2.
BT mobile is an EE MVNO so you should get the same signal although they might reserve the fastest 4G and 5G for the main network.

Recently I moved away from three to voda on the basis of coverage - first time I've ever changed not just for price. My office location struggles for three and a few locations in Scotland I often go (and stream TV) were poor on three despite their site claiming full 4G.
However I did take the £9.50 for 100G offer on mobiles co uk. Cashback faff, but figured worth it for 100G.

I've been using BT Mobile for about 5 years with no issues.
I have 3 SIM's on their Family SIM offer. I moved my broadband last year but have left the mobiles on BT because the service is good.
I particularly like the WiFi Calling as I frequent a few locations with no mobile signal inside due to the nature of the buildings. If the handset has a strong WiFi signal it will route calls over WiFi rather than the mobile network. It works seamlessly on recent Android handsets. I think the other networks offer it now but EE had it live and working well before the others.
