Is there a UK freelancer site for IT projects?

[PH4555]

Just wondering if there's a UK site for freelancers that gets UK people bidding rather than 99% Pakistanis, Indians and Filipinos on all the other freelancer sites? I realise that the above only happens because that's all people are typically prepared to pay and so there's no point UK people bidding, but where does one go to get work done without randomly shooting off emails to various webdev websites?

I think you've just described the industry... why would someone looking to procure services want to get them done specifically in the UK for a far higher price?
