Running Windows 10. When I use Windows Fax and Scan - where are the images stored?

I want to send an email with a scanned image attachment. I do the scan ok, but where is the image stored? I click on the 'attach files from computer (or similar) and I can't find them!

Any ideas please? I can do the scan again, that's not a problem, but I can't find the images to attach to my email!

You should see "scanner", "source" and "file type" menus to the left.

Under this you should see "show more". Click it.

At the bottom is the directory scans will go to.

Well, I'll be....

Thank you. As you said it's in Documents, then Scanned Documents, but it comes after all the 'normal' documents, so I had to scroll down to the bottom, so it isn't obvious.

Thanks once again.
