Hi All

I need some help please, I need to convert a chunk of dates that are in US format to UK.

The original dates don't have any dividers so I can't just covert it like normal, I believe the format of them is currently General as well.

Currently it's like 19600921 and need to change it to 21/09/1960

Thanks in advance

A nasty concat left/mid/right should do the job

Can't seem to post it as text without a PH 403 error

19600921 => 21/09/1960

Here's a good explanation of the problem and how to deal with it in Excel Power Query:

Advantage here is that you're not messing around with formulas and next time you get given the same junk to work with, it'll just sort out automatically.
