Just throwing this out for any of you lucky enough to have a PS5.
The new firmware came out last week for the internal enablement of the nVME drive
Most forums say you need the 7000mb/s drives which most owners seem to be going for Wester Digital Black or Seagate Firecudas

Bare in mind both the above drives now carry a premium because there being bought a lot, I went for a Gigabyte Aorus 2TB Black edition its cheaper and has a slightly better failure rate than some of the others. Also keep in mind the 2TB drives have 2gb Cache as opposed to 1GB for the lower drives, Speed wise once installed the PS5 tests it and I got 6548 mb/s Read speeds, some of the guys with the 1TB only manages 5xxx...so looks like the Cache helps..

Lets be honest though the 2TB is near as much as a stock console, if your rich the 4TB is 900 quid LOL, but I can now install PS5 game on it and not be limited to the internal drive.

One last bit of advice, I ran a 4TB WD Black for the PS4 guff and I transferred 1.3TB of this to the new drive it took 6 HOURS, if you have a nice fast net connection its probably better and faster to load it again smile
