Alternatives to Nuance Dragon?

I use this bit of software a lot for work and find it pretty good, although inevitably its output requires careful checking to avoid some interesting word soup! Every now and again I get tempted to move from PC to Mac, but the only thing that stops me is the requirement for a good (accurate and trainable) dictation system, and there doesn't appear to be any up to date Mac version of Dragon. I've tried using the MS Word in built dictation, and although ok-ish, it's not as good as Dragon and probably not good enough for my needs. Can anyone suggest a digital solution (not a real secretary!) that might work please?
