I'm with three at the moment but considering moving to a better network but their roaming offering is great. I know everyone is going to start euro charging again but I use it alot in the states or I did pre COVID does anyone else pre bundle in roaming at a reasonable cost or are they all expensive Bolt-on's ?

If you have a Three plan that includes roaming I’d stick with it. Other than a local sim nothing from the other carriers or threes new contracts come close, especially for the states.

Yep, I’m in the USA right now using 3 roaming. I won’t be changing anytime soon.

I'm on an O2 SIM only plan that includes roaming in the US. It's called Travel Inclusive Zone, and it's a free bolt on for any tariff that's £20 (I think) or more per month.

Also on O2 with the TIZ. It’s a fairly eclectic mix of countries but ticks off most of the usual suspects. Spent 20 days in Canada recently using it, saves a fortune over the usual £5 or whatever it used to be per day.

Do you have a phone that is capable of supporting an eSIM? There are numerous apps that will allow you to buy a month eSIM for various countries with various amounts of data to cover your trip. Airalo seem to have the best deals I have found so far.

You learn something every day - I never realised such services existed.
