iPhone 11 Pro speaker replacement?

My 11 pro max ear speaker is faulty, Has anyone had one replaced by apple?

Having to resort to taking all calls on the loud speaker as the ear speaker is too quiet.

I’ve been on the apple website where they have
- screen repair pricing
- battery repair pricing
- other repair pricing

So it would appear “other repair “ is the appropriate option here except the price is a flat £566.44!!

can’t be right?

Frustrating really as the phone hasn’t a mark on it and I’ve literally just made my final payment on the bloody thing, was hoping to be contract free for a while

Reluctant to go third party as I’ve had nothing but grief on previous phones

Sounds bonkers but give the ear speaker a clean with a (dry!) electric toothbrush- this has sorted out several phones over the years - apparently the vibration shakes out small droplets and dust that block the tiny holes above the speaker

Fingers crossed it works. The other repair flat rate is probably because they just give you a replacement unit.

Had my toothbrush on it last night and it has improved it to the point I can use it properly.

Compared to my mrs’s 11 pro max I’d say mine is at 60% and not as clear.

At least I can use it though so thanks
