Hi all,

Currently looking at providing a Managed Mac OSX remote desktop/access so some temp employess can access OSX machines that we host in our office remotley (For Adobe / Graphics work) Seems that they don't like our Azure VDI Windows desktop.... don't blame them to be fair!

I've been looking at Teradici, it looks good but i'm already put off by their Sales / lack of interest in providing a demo.

Any other enterprise grade solutions / reccomendations most welcome!

Thank you!

You could try Amulet Hotkey - based in Devon - they are a UK based partner of Teradici

(not used it myself but I previously worked with a senior developer that now works there)

This alone would put me off Teradici for life now.

Me too! ha!

Problem is, they seem to be the market leaders in providing on-premise Mac OSX remote desktop.

Already got the Mac hardware? If not you can just rent it on Amazon EC2, which might be a better route if just for temps.

In my company they use Supremo Control. It might work for you unless you are looking for other features.

The big problem here is that because of the way a Mac works it detects it's screen and peripherals on start up so any remote control solution tends to have very poor mouse precision and scrolling behaviour.

Best we've found is LogMeIn Central with matched screen resolutions at both ends, so mac mini's not iMac's. I appreciate this isn't actually a remote desktop it's remote control of a mac and in my opinion it's not acceptable but it's the best we've found and we've got a bout 20 people working like this.
