I have 2 mates who both have one of these each

Which is best because they both say their own choice or what should I buy at a similar price or slightly higher to stream movies, by the way I know nothing about this subject so keep it simple please

Cheers

I certainly wouldn't buy the 1st one, it's very low spec.
I recently bought an A95X F4 which performs very well
I paid £49 from a UK seller on ebay but stocks appear to be low and prices higher.

The two big players are Amazon and Roku. If you aren’t that up on this kind of thing I would stick with them.

I prefer Roku, I find them super simple and reliable and have pretty much all of the main streaming channels on them, more so than the Amazon.

Others will argue you can side load on the Amazon, but I can’t be bothered with that.

I'd go with the latter, as it is more of an appliance, and by the sound of it you want an appliance.

The various firesticks are heavily discounted this week direct from Amazon, so I'd buy from there. More you pay, more responsive the device's user interface is.

Just a small question struck me - where are you streaming from?

I’m guessing it’ll be the world wide internetty thing.

I would imagine that the slightly delicate question was really whether the OP is talking about mainstream Netflix/Disney+/Prime, or the multitude of dodgy Kodi/Plex streams that are out there. Without judging in any way, the answer to "which is best" is heavily dependent on what they mean to stream.

Google 4k Chromecast, imho the best and slickest interface of them all and has all the main apps on it.

Currently on sale for £45 on the Google Store

I haven't bought one yet so haven't streamed yet, however, since the subject has been brought up I guess the better ones are the most expensive, so for now I would guess my answer is the middle quality one, whichever that is?
