YESS! That's the best news I've heard all day...

What a group of rip off tossers...

Thanks! Made my day!
Dave.

Rippoff tossers they may be but ive just bought a £650 HP Laptop from them. Payment made about three weeks ago and no delivery. Any ideas what the 1st step is getting my spondules back? There shops are shut and nobodys home at head office. Websites still taking orders :-/ My Bank? CAB?

I thought Time / Tiny shut their doors years ago? Certainly a lot of their branches closed at the time. I had assumed they'd gone bust back then.

I think it was Tiny that went bust a few years back and then Time bought and merged the companies.

They rebranded a couple of years ago and traded as "The Computer store" (or Shop, can't remember)

Good. My only dealing with Time taught me to think that they were a bunch of lying schysters.

Yup, just heard on the news they've definately gone under...

There is a helpline for customers... maybe you should have a go with that?

That is a swine... if you have no luck contact the bank!

I've had a look around and here it is:
0870 381 7097

Otherwise.. i've looked at the WHOIS details for some of their websites and found these contact details..

Granville Technology Group Ltd
Blackburn Rd , Simonstone
Burnley, LANCASHIRE BB12 7GT
UK
Phone: +44 1282 770044

Administrative Contact :
Mohsan, Zuber
Zuber_Mohsan GTG_LTD@GRANVILLETECHNOLOGY.CO.UK
Blackburn Rd
Simonstone, Burnley, Lancashire, BB12 7GT
UKR
Phone: +44 1282 770044
Fax: +44 1282 777206

Don't know if that will be any good for you... try them all until you get a result.. Would hate them to rip someone else off too..

Thanks a lot!! And good luck with getting your cash back!
Dave.

Cheers uncle Dave.

Help line is jammed at mo. Dont really want the machine now and would rather cash back as the deal was cut with a lot of freebies from the store if additional £60 3yr insurance was taken ie wireless transiever, software, cordless mouse.... To be collected when PC was delivered.

The HP is a Hewlett Packard. Payed by bank Visa and have been told they shall cover it.

No offence to anyone that has, but buying a PC from the likes of Tiny et al is the equivalent of buying a sports car from your local corner shop.
