Recommend me a Dual SIM Phone
Discussion
I'm looking at giving a Dual SIM Phone a go, rather than carrying round both a work phone and a personal phone.
I'm aware of some of the pitfalls, but hopefully these will be outweighed by the convenience.
So can anyone recommend me a decent mid range dual SIM handset, nothing too expensive, but something with half decent performance.
It does need to be able to accept two SIM cards, not an e-sim and it must be Android.

Realme GT Master Edition 5G is definitely worth considering.

How much do you want to spend pal?I'm aware of some of the pitfalls, but hopefully these will be outweighed by the convenience.

For instance I've got a Samsung Note 20 Ultra; personal SIM and business SIM in one. But they are a flagship phone and with a hefty price (then again I'm a gadget freak and happy to pay those prices etc). I've still got my Pixel 4XL also and that's a superb phone with eSIM capabilities
For a midrange/decent phone you could look at the likes of the Samsung A52 5G; OnePlus Nord etc
Or more expensive; look at the Samsung S21 & 21 Ultra
If you want more 'budget' then look at the likes of the Xiaomo Mi 10T Lite/Pocco F3/Realme 8 (all the same company) etc
Personally I'd go for the Samsung A52; it's a great phone, 5G, dual SIM, good cameras and Samsungs high quality screen etc
Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm not personally buying it - the company I work for will be through the people that handle our telecommunications stuff.
Although the remit was "you can have whatever phone you want" - I'm not going to take the mick, it just needs to be half decent and not too fragile. This is also why it needs to be able to take two physical nano SIM cards too, just to make life easier all round.
I've got a figure in my head of around the £300/£400 mark max.

I use a Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. It’s waterproof, bomb proof, shatter proof etc etc etc (allegedly
).
I am on my second after I broke the first
It’s actually quite good for a dual sim phone and I have had a few different ones. I am into construction so I am very heavy on phones, average life for an IPhone for me is 4 months or so. I have driven over this one in a telehandler and dropped it into a water butt where it sat for 10 mins until I noticed and fished it out, still works fine.
This one has by far the best software for the dual sim functionality than any of the others I have had. Just one thing which you need to be aware off is that only one sim card can be full 4G/5G functionality, the other one is only operating on 3G or less. I think this is common to all dual sim phones but happy to be corrected on this. For me I would be far happier if both Sims could be 4G.

I read somewhere that the dual sim phones will only send/receive data via one sim card, when both cards are in use. Is this correct?I've an A50 Samsung, 4gb-128gb.
It's been superb, 2 sims and another sd card slot.
£205 from CEX with 2 year warranty (don't work for them, but do buy from them)!
What's not to love!!!

This limitation is overcome on most modern dual SIM handsets, with both SIMS capable of connecting at 4G or more simultaneously.Matt_E_Mulsion said:
