Pen type interface for Windows 10 laptop

Hi,
For 2022 I've decided to move away from my handwritten daily notes and use something like One Note.

I've got a Lenovo P73 and would like some advice on what pen-style user interfaces I could use please.

I find it quicker to sketch diagrams and notes... but handwritten notes can't search and any urls are essentially useless once you've forgotten when you wrote them.

Onenote will OCR all your text notes so are searchable too

Really want a direct - input which will be good with sketched diagrams too.
