Have a SIM only deal from Virgin.

On return from Cyprus, phone will no longer register on UK Virgin mobile.

Spoke to VM Customer Services and they have sent out replacement SIM.

New card won't connect with error message " NOT PROVISIONED"

Any ideas please or is it back to VM?

Sounds like back to VM, but it's worth switching airplane mode on then switching phone off & on and then switch airplane mode off.

While I was in the USA a few weeks back Virgin kept sending me texts with a link to 'update carrier settings', I kept deleting the texts asI didn'tneed to do anything, you havn't by accident changed the carrier settings?

Have a read here to see if it helps... https://www.online-tech-tips.com/smartphones/how-t...

Do you ever just wonder...

When I ordered the replacement SIM, the chap in CS said to send READY to the number he gave me. Couldn't do that as SIM not working. Surely he must have known the SIM wouldn't work.

After coming off the phone to CS it seems all SIM cards are dispatched dead in case some steals it. However, if you have lost your phone the new SIM will be sent out fully functional!

CS lady (not in UK) at a loss to explain logic.

It might have been helpful if the covering letter with the new SIM said something to the effect of "phone CS to get your SIM activated"

Is this just Virgin uselessness or is it par for the course with all mobile companies?

Anyway - phone now working!
