My work PC seems not to have bluetooth (remarkable!).

I am doing Zoom/Teams calls with a wired headset plugged into a headset jack socket. The wired nature is annoying me. Ideally I'd use my AirPods or similar.

Is there a bluetooth dongle I can plug into the headset jack?

I can see loads on Amazon but they seem to have to choose between transmit or receive - and I assume I need to do both.

To add to the complication, the USB port (yes singular!) is used and there are no power points left under the desk to run a USB hub (the sockets are already running 4 gang extension leads, which in turn are full).

Is anybody using something with success under these constraints?

You don’t need power for a usb hub (unless you’re plugging in lots of USB pulling power.

A cheap Bluetooth usb dongle would seem to be what you want.

Basic USB hub and something like a Plantronics Voyager Focus. Other cheaper, worse headsets exist. wink

A 10 second Amazon search later:

Below allows gaming chat:

Below allows handsfree calls:

Also, I don't know what your budget is but for the best call quality, its best to get a dedicated office headset.

The above come with a dedicated USB bluetooth adaptor to ensure the best call quality.

The sound quality of people calling from Airpods or Bose QC35ii's is never as good as people using decent quality office headsets with boom mic.

You can buy 8 way multi surge protectors if you need to buy a powered USB hub. I use APC ones like:
