Smart watch for kids

[audi321]

Sorry if this should be under watches but I’d say it’s more gadget than a watch lol.

My 13 year old lad wants a smart watch. I know nothing about them whatsoever so please be gentle.

He’s got an iPhone so would be nice to pair it up but there’s no way I’m buying an Apple Watch as he’s gonna lose it I’m sure.

Looking on Amazon there’s literally thousands to choose from and all say IOS compatible? They range from £20 upwards (I’m thinking as he’s bound to lose/smash it, let’s start off with a cheap one!).

But where to start? Anyone any recommendations or are they just not worth it at such a low price point?

Thanks I’m advance.
