Adrian Chiles? Crawling across concrete, in his undercrackers... Oof, suits you sir.

‘ Do you have a preference? Do you prefer a slow-witted speaker, sir? Dim, bright of aspect but with no discernible intellect? Ah! They’re more fun in many ways, aren’t they sir? Ooh, suit you! They may not bring much to the party, sir, but they certainly enjoy themselves when they’re there. Oh, suit you!

Does that come with a free ASBO (or whatever the equivalent is today)?

I think use of that could lead to the mythical frozen sausages in the lawn scenario.

We've got a Portable Bose Speaker.

This one It does us fine outdoors during summer BBQ's.

Slightly over £100 depending on where you get it, something a little bigger by Bose should be plenty louder and being well in Budget.

I've just invited myself to your pool party. And I shall be wearing my glasses on top of my head!

I recommend UE Megaboom/Hyperboom. The former seem indestructible, my son has tried! It is possible to connect multiple speakers so you can just keep adding to increase coverage (or the number of neighbours annoyed)

You really want something like this.

More than loud enough, blue tooth etc.

Make sure you get the bags, then it will all pack down without damage when you don't need it.

Bluetooth? I'm sorry but I'd expect WiFi connection for £749

No idea why you would want WiFi on something like that, it’s a portable PA system to be used in multiple locations, it’s not a domestic home style speaker.

This will easily cover a large area like a swimming pool, your typical home speaker won’t have a chance.

Sonos Move or a couple of Sonos Roam (can be paired to a stereo pairing) should do the trick.

Bluetooth range, interruptions from notifications, sound quality name a few. Why wouldnt you have wifi in your pool area?

OP mentioned for use in garden area so would likely have wifi coverage.

I would say the roam isnt loud enough to fit the criteria (I have 2)

Can you find an all in one PA system with built in Wifi?

No idea, don't care, don't think the OP wanted an all in one PA system either.

I'm just saying if I wanted a speaker for round the pool or anywhere around the home, I'd choose WiFi over Bluetooth every day.
