Me mate matey wants me to publish a screen that he's created in ImageReady but he's having real probs getting the files to me. I tried re-creating the screen myself but I don't have the majority of the graphics, mouse over state for buttons etc as it seems to incorporate the background into them, the rest of the screen it seems to slice into loads more image files. The screen he gave me only has the normal state for the buttons.

Can anyone give me some simple instructions to get the files from him(export facility in ImageReady?), I don't have ImageReady myself and just need the HTML version + graphics.

cheers

I've now got ImageReady but not the file he used and he's not around at the moment. Do you know if he can send me a packaged up file i.e. one file that I can open in ImageReady and then create the HTML from, do you know what file ext etc. He tried to send the HTML but it's missing all states for the button except normal

Cheers

ive no idea if you can 'package' all the files from within image ready to one file. how about saving the html and images (it automatically creates an image folder) and then i guess you would have to zip or stuff all the files, and they can be sent at the same time...

is that what you meant?

Yeah kindda perhaps I shouldn't have said packaged. I wondered if you could create a file in it with the background and buttons etc say as a ImageReady Project and then save it before it'd been HTML'd. That way I can create the HTML myself as he seems to be struggling getting all the HTML + Images to me, I have suggested he zips and emails already, I won't call him a bozo incase I tell him to read this later.

perhaps he could send you the images, and then copy the source html into an email, which you could drop into your own html page, and as long as you had all the images it should all flow smoothly. ive only really used image ready for small animations..

good luck!

Yeah that's what I tried initially but he can't find the image directory or the html hence saving meself some grief by doing it meself.

Thanks for the help, I've got a couple of things to tell him to try
