Zoom Buttons - Small Project

Hi I want to make a plug and play solution for using Zoom for my parents.

Apparently it is programmable, I would like it to be able to toggle: mute/unmute, video on/off, raise/lower hand.

Has anyone done anything like this?

I am worried that it will need physically setting up on their laptop rather than me setting up the buttons on my machine and posting it to them as a plug and play type thing.

Would I need something 'smarter' to make it work as a set up plug and play setup, like an arduino/pi to go with it?
