iPAQ Battery for 3970
I think I need a new battery for my iPAQ 3970.

Any ideas on best place/price, which battery I should get, and when I change the battery will I loose everything stored on the iPAQ

Never had to do it, but did come across this site when I thought the missus' iPAQ needed a new backlight:

You need to make sure you do a full backup via ActiveSync, then you should be able to restore all the contents when you've changed the battery.

Its a good idea to backup regularly anyway.

I used the company mentioned above about a year ago to change the switch board on my iPaq and found them to be very good.

I've changed the battery on a 3650 - bought the battery, which came with the correct screwdriver and plastic case splitter for about £25.
