MiniTool MovieMaker 4.0 - anyone use it?

Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm pulling a vlog together and I cant seem to add a layer of narrative over a video AND a quiet background song.

The software only seems to be able to cope with a video and the background song and I don't seem to be able to add the 3rd layer. Is that correct???

You might get more response in the Computing sub forum but I use the free version of DaVinci Resolve and you can add a lot of different tracks together so if you have a reasonable computer then you could try that out.

Another plug for the free Resolve.

The UI isn't the easiest to crack, but once you manage it, you get a powerful package for free. My problem was that I've spent years on Power Director and the UI differs. I subscribe to PD at the moment but am considering jumping ship for the free DW Resolve when renewal time comes around.

There are lots of YouTube videos to get you going for Resolve, although some of them have very 'bouncy' presenters.

If anyone knows the answer to the MiniTool question though that would be great as I’m part way through a video at the minute and won’t have time to learn a new UI for at least the video after this one…eek!!
