Watching Netflix from iPhone to TV?

Anyone know if it’s possible to watch Netflix movies (that have been downloaded to an iPhone) on a TV via HDMI & lightening adapter?
I’m having problems doing do, I can hear audio on my TV but can’t see video.
Could this be down to the HDMI cable, or HDCP encryption? I used to be able to do it.
(No internet as I’m in my caravan so relying on cables)
