I would have thought all three of them would sync automatically?

Why not use your new one? It’s much simpler to just to keep to one device as your phone calls will be going to your new phone.

All your apps and settings should carry over. Then you can use Spotify on the old phone.

You would then either need to download all the songs over WiFi at home, or tether your old phone to your new one to use its data for streaming.

As above you won’t be able to take phone calls in the car anymore.

When you turn in and setup the new one it prompts you to transfer over from the old one. Just do that and everything will be copied over (takes a while). After that you can either wipe the old one and start over or just tell it you don’t want to wipe it.
