How to stop nuisance calls?

My daughter is receiving barrages of calls to her mobile in the middle of the night, this has gone on for the last 4 nights. No caller ID is displayed.
Last night was typical; at 3am her phone rings. It woke her up, she answered it, male voice said “hey what’s up bruv”. She replied “wrong number, please stop calling” and put down the phone. 13 further calls were then made in succession (which she didn’t answer).
Can’t block caller due to no caller ID. Can anything else be done to prevent these?

As others have said, a number of options.
On iOS you can select in settings —> Phone —> Silence unknown numbers
You can also set ‘Sleep’ or ‘Do not disturb’ as a one off or on a schedule in Settings —-> Focus that will prevent all but your selected contacts getting through.
I’m sure Android with have similar.

Turning off phone - radical but it’s her alarm clock.
My strategy, pretty much since I've had a phone, has been the silent answer.
If the caller isn't in my contacts, or I don't recognise the number, I'll pick up, but not speak.
Humans will after a few seconds, say something. You can then decide if you wish to speak to this human. If you don't, remaining silent will usually deter them from attempting further communication, and they will hang up.
Non-humans (computer auto diallers) will quickly disconnect the call and often purge your number from their database.
I get maybe one unwanted call every couple of months.

My Samsung alarm only works when the phone is turned on. YMMV.
I always use Do Not Disturb overnight, set to allow close family only.
Same, my S21 has to be switched on for the alarm to work but my old OnePlus 5 I could power off and it would power itself up to sound an alarm.I always use Do Not Disturb overnight, set to allow close family only.
Check the call settings there may be a block unknown/private numbers option.
